Cafe Saigon in Montreal, Canada

A friend of mine from French class recommended this restaurant to yours truly. I decided to check it out. When I first approached the restaurant, I wasn’t sure what to make of it. But it’s really something the moment you walk inside.

Busy. Bustling. Cozy. Crowded.

Whenever a restaurant’s crowded, I get curious. I can’t help it. I want to know what the big deal is.

There is a huge variety of dishes to choose from at Cafe Saigon. Stir fried and soup noodles, rice dishes, spring rolls and the like.

The main dishes cost $8-15. My friend recommended the satay soup, but I didn’t listen and ordered the chicken curry noodle. My friends ordered some other dishes whose names I no longer remember.

The portions are generous, the soup is good and the price is right.

I’ll be back here. But I think I’ll get the satay soup next time.

Till then, amigos.
