Godley & Creme in Montreal, Canada

I’ve walked past Godley & Creme many times. Yesterday, I noticed it for the first time, and today I walked in. It’s an easy to miss cute-little-place, but you shouldn’t miss it.

The menu, which was written on a blackboard on the wall consists of sandwiches, soups and coffees.

The lady who served me was really friendly and outgoing. She recommended the chicken sandwich, which I dutifully ordered cause I couldn’t make up my mind.

It’s an open kitchen so you can watch them make your sandwich, if you like.

This was a real good sandwich. Grilled vegetables, guacamole, melted cheddar and chicken.

Perfect for a light lunch.

It’s cash only, so be sure to have some money on you.

Oh, and the chickpeas were delicious, too!
